Do you avoid smiling because of chipped, discolored, broken or crooked teeth? Dental veneers allow us to address multiple issues at once to dramatically revitalize your smile. These cosmetic restorations are an excellent way to mask imperfections. At Fryeburg Dental Center, we create veneers out of a porcelain material that mimics the appearance of real teeth, down to the way it catches light, for completely natural looking, yet beautiful results. What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are a versatile restoration that can quickly and effectively transform your smile. The thin, custom-crafted, porcelain shells are permanently bonded to the front of your teeth. They hide imperfections like discoloration, chips, cracks and worn enamel. They can also fix minor misalignment and close gaps between teeth. Dr. Harper and Dr. Hennessy use the latest technology and the highest quality materials to create veneers that replicate the shape, translucency, strength and color of natural teeth. The end result is a long-lasting, stunning smile.
Benefits of Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers can be used to address a wide range of smile concerns, including damage, discoloration and even misalignment.
With dental veneers, we can fix a number of issues with one treatment, as opposed to individually correcting them with multiple procedures.
Lifelike and Gorgeous
Porcelain veneers look lifelike to give you a perfect smile. No one will guess they’re not your natural teeth.
What to Expect
One of our Fryeburg cosmetic dentists, Dr. Harper or Dr. Hennessy, will evaluate your smile and chat with you about your concerns and goals. They will then take digital dental impressions and can even show you a representation of what your new smile will look like. They’ll use the impressions to create a model of your mouth so that the veneers can be custom created just for you with the correct size, shape and color.
When your restorations are ready, you’ll come back to our office. Before placing the porcelain veneers, Dr. Harper or Dr. Hennessy will remove a very small amount of your enamel to provide the perfect fit. Don’t worry, this is painless and quick. They’ll bond the veneers to your teeth before contouring and polishing them. Finally, they’ll check the fit and aesthetics, making any necessary adjustments. You’ll leave our office with a brand new, beautiful smile.
